Jack Pierson, whose work is in museum collections around the world, has been showing his photography at the Albert Merola Gallery in Provincetown since 1993. Twenty years ago, he had an exhibit there of a series of classical male nudes, and this current exhibit, “Folded Photographs,” which has an opening at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, at 424 Commercial St., revisits that same subject. On view are eight pigment prints (in editions of three) of naked young men, shot in various venues in voluptuous color and lighting.
