Whether in film or real life, Annabelle has a rather dark history. In film, she holds significant roles in four movies and has made a few cameo appearances in others. While the cinematic version is highly recognizable, some may not be familiar with the real-life doll her movie counterpart is based on. The actual Annabelle isn't a vintage porcelain doll at all. Instead, it's a stuffed Raggedy Ann doll.
