I attended YMCA swimming lessons in the early 1960s at the YMCA in Jacksonville, Florida. All us s swam nude. To the best of my memory, the male instructors had on swimming trunks. The mothers of swimmers came and went around the s from elementary age through high age. It seemed perfectly normal and natural.
