hey, so i heard the creators of Miraculous Ladybug are possibly pedo-adjacent [& considering some things on the show/comic, i'm not surprised. does anyone know anything abt this or can give me some info?
Marinette shouldn't be naked. I rechecked the comic online and in Issue 2 she has her clothes on (by the white colouring on her skin during the transformation panel) and the clothes that are dropped in the water are her swimsuit and not her regular clothes. This could be the artist mistake but still it's not right to have a naked girl in a story.
I would rather that Marinette had already in her swimsuit before transformation because it's still safe for her to go around places despite its not practical. Plus they could still run the "oh god I'm naked joke" with her swimsuit because it still indicating her feeling uncomfortable as she's wearing an attire that's not appropriate for her current situation.
I believe Marinette was changing for a beach party before a villain struck, and, after winning as Ladybug, is teleported to New York City along with Adrien. Before her timer is up, she hides in a dumpster, and then she transforms back. With no clothes.

I understand what was considered okay 20 years ago is not considered okay now, and for that reason I dont hold the same standards to it. But Miraculous is modern series in a modern time and should adhere to modern standards. Also, I don't understand what's so radical about not wanting a 14 year old to run around naked in NYC or not wanting a ren's show director to be posting nsfw drawings of his characters on twitter? As for your whole bit about culture being destroyed if people try to hold the directors accountable, no one here is trying to get the show canceled, we just want Thomas to stop defending these actions because they're not okay.
