I honestly wish Hinata had been on team 7 instead of Sakura. No hate to Sakura but Hinata is such a greater choice
-however it would also have been way better for sasuke. He had no contact with any female who didn’t fangirl just because of his looks. He would have benefited so much by having a female friend, a female who saw him for him and saw his grief and tragedy and tried to help him. Sasuke and Hinata would have been great friends, they’re both introverted.
-Hinata had a way better background and back story than Sakura. imagine everything that could have been explored. She could relate to naruto and sasuke since she was treated like shit by her family. The hyuga could have been explored way better. She could also relate to sasuke because of the weight of being from such a strong clan.
-naruto as much as everyone says team 7 was his family’s they kinda treated him like shit. Especially Sakura. If naruto had Hinata as a supporting team member who saw him for who he is, and not as the jinchuriki or an obnoxious brat (that’s how Sakura saw him).
-Hinata would have made the team work on team 7 way better by supporting both sasuke and naruto and would have decreased the rivalry. Since Sakura increased the rivalry by treating naruto like shit causing him to wanna compete against sasuke.
-we could also have seen more of the relationship between neji and Hinata. Hinata always looked at neji as a brother but neji was bitter and understandably so. We could have seen neji and Hinata working on their relationship.
